Hygiene Standards

The health and well-being of our guests and staff is our top priority. Please read below our hygienic standards in relation to COVID-19.

Every member of Maximilian Hotel strictly complies with the thorough protective measures against COVID-19 recommended by WHO* and thereafter by the government of Czech Republic, such as hand hygiene, wearing face masks at all times at the Hotel premises, physical distancing, avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth and is trained to seek medical attention if they or somebody around them have symptoms consistent with the disease.

We make sure our environment is clean and hygienic at all times by treating the surfaces and objects with disinfection to avoid contamination on surfaces touched by employees or guests. In addition, we have removed items (in rooms and public areas) that cannot be easily disinfected and some of our in-room services have been temporarily adjusted and are available upon request only to avoid contamination.

The Hotel promotes regular and thorough hand-washing by everyone and provides an access to the places where they can wash their hands with soap and water.

We put sanitizing hand rub dispensers in all prominent places around the Hotel and make sure the dispensers are regularly refilled. One-use gloves and tissues are also available to everyone.

The Hotel has face masks available for those who develop symptoms corresponding to COVID-19 at the Hotel to prevent the spread of the virus or upon the guest‘s request.

The Hotel’s staff is instructed to stay home if they have had to take simple medications, such as paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin, which may mask the symptoms of the infection, or to stay at home even if they have only mild symptoms of COVID-19.

The Hotel keeps reinforcing the above message to its employees via trainings, emails and posters in their workplaces.
